Always do exactly as asked. If the question says “find out” or “research”, then all means are fine. Internet, or even books in the library (remember them?) Don’t forget in these cases to make sure the websites you use are accurate and trustworthy, and don’t rely upon one single source. Anyone can write an internet article on any subject – the fact that it is online does mean it is true or accurate. If you use internet articles, books, newspapers or magazines to research your work, give the original author credit in your work. If you use any blocks of text of theirs, which you couldn’t say better yourself, put it in quotes, and mention the sources at the end, even if you don’t directly quote them or use them at all. It shows you have made an effort to do the research as requested. It is only stealing opinions (plagiarism) if you fail to give fair credit to the original author. You may happen to agree with them.
