Is Using Lemongrass Oil to Kill Toenail Fungus a Good Idea?

0

Toenail fungus is a frustrating thing. It can be very difficult to get rid of and treatment can take months. Also, there is so much information out there on how to get rid of it that it’s difficult to weed through the bad and get to the good. Lately I’ve been seeing some reports floating around that claim using lemongrass oil to kill toenail fungus is a good treatment option. When I investigated the claims, I realized they are mostly untrue. While it is a common ingredient in a few very popular homeopathic treatments, using lemongrass oil to kill toenail fungus by itself is not very beneficial. There are many other all natural oils and acids that are much more effective. Tea tree oil and almond oil are a couple of examples. They are powerful natural antiseptics and have had tremendous success, (in combination with other ingredients), in treating nail fungus infections. Lemongrass oil is a topical treatment. It is very rare that a topical treatment alone will be able to kill off the fun
