Is urdu leaving its life in Pakistan?

To some extent because 1. Pakistanis like to show-off that they can speak English and so they try to squeeze more and more English words into a sentence. They do not have pride for their language. 2. In signboards throughout the country, rather than writing the English accompanied with translated Urdu (e.g. Book Store, ;كتاب كي دكان), the English is accompanied with Urdu transliteration (e.g. Book Store, بوك استور) 3. Television Advertisements use excessive English and only a few words of Urdu, for example, Coca Cola uses the phrase “Enjoy your تهندي coke” – note only ONE Urdu word is used in the ad! To summarize: Pakistani people take more pride in speaking English than they do in their own language and as a result Urdu is leaving the life of Pakistanis.
