Is Ultra Purge liquid or in pellet form?
Ultra Purge is a chemical purging compound in pellet form. Ultra Purge looks like a “salt and Pepper” blend with the active part and the carrier. This formulation allows Ultra Purge to be very efficient in the cleaning process especially in the feeding zone of the screw since the active parts melts at a temperate greater that 80ºC (176ºF). As soon as Ultra Purge is introduced in the machine, it will start reacting without waiting for the resin normally used as a carrier to melt like with most other purging compounds.
