The US-UK ‘Special’ relationship was never very special, we’ve supported the US in a number of areas where Europe didn’t, yet it appeared that the US relationship with the other power countries in Europe was better than the US relationship with the UK! So hopefully the UK will now become more involved in the EU, because that’s our best hope out of the economic slump.
