Is UHM SEED Academy the same as home schooling?
No student enrolled in UHM SEED Academy are participating in a public, accredited program of Kapolei High School and the University of Hawai`i at Mānoa. The curriculum is approved by the school district for earning high school credits that count towards a high school diploma through Kapolei High School. UHM SEED Academy students take core courses, including AP courses, online wherever they have internet access. In addition, they can also take on-campus STEM enrichment electives in science, technology, engineering and math.
