The UFC heavyweight championship bout between Brock Lesnar and Shane Carwin pegged for UFC 106 has been canceled as title holder Lesnar withdraws due illness. According to UFC president Dana White, Lesnar is in “bad shape” and won’t be fighting anytime soon. This was announced just last night during UFC 105. White says that he’s currently in a hospital in North Dakota. As of the moment, it has not been confirmed what the illness is while many are speculating it’s due to swine flu or steroids. The fight has now been temporarily rescheduled to January 2, in time for UFC 108.
