Is Tunisia part of Europe?

0

Tunisia is NOT a part of Europe. We are a part of Africa. Tunisia is in North Africa, towards the middle of the continent. Our neighbors are Algeria to the West, and Libya to the South-East. We are directly under Sardinia, Italy. Malta and Sicily are closes neighbors to our North-East. The only way he can claim to be European is if one of his parents if European. Tunisia used to be a colony of France until 1956, and there were many children who had one Tunisian parent and one French parent. Now a days, there are many mixed marriages here (mine being one of them – I’m American). The most common mixed marriage involve those from France, Italy, Germany, or the UK. Likewise, if he was born in Europe, but one of his parents is Tunisian, he would have Tunisian nationality. If you have any other questions about Tunisia, or if I can be of more help or assistance, please feel free to contact me anytime.
