Is Tudor Turf weed free?
All Tudor Turf is continually treated for weeds and when it arrives at your door it will be weed free. However all soil contains dormant weed seeds. If you lay weed free turf on an untreated surface, it will not be long before the weeds re-establish themselves. Treatment of the area to the turfed with a weed killer such as “Roundup” will kill 95% of the weeds in the existing lawn and will also remove any undesirable “wild grasses” which will spoil the fine texture of your new turf. Treatment should be carried out at least 14 days before you wish to lay your turf.
