Is TribalCon only about dance?
No! Besides workshops with outstanding dance instructors, TribalCon offers a music track with world-renowned musicians and panels for discussion with our instructors. Nevik of Legion of Doumbek, Jas of Khafif, Denys of Turku, and Awalim will be teaching rhythms, melodies, and even computer music editing classes! We will also have a special lecture on Thursday evening by Donna Mejia, a Guest Artist in Residence at Smith College Dance Department and Five College Dance Department. Sunday morning we have scheduled two panel discussions with our music and dance instructors on any / open topics.
