Is transportation provided?
We provide transportation to and from the treatment center to our apartments. Clients are also taken to and from doctor’s appointments, to pick up prescriptions and to and from the grocery store. Courtesy airport and/or bus pickup for admission to Canopy Cove, as well as return drop off, is provided during working hours on Monday thru Friday when staff is available. To secure courtesy airport/bus transportation however, you must check availability with staff prior to confirming your ticket. All transportation to and from activities during treatment hours is provided by Canopy Cove staff.
Transportation to and from the airport is the responsibility of the attendee. Space Center Houston will provide transportation to and from conference hotels to Space Center Houston. A list of conference hotels will be provided in the conference booklet in October 2009. The bus schedule will be available on the website in January 2010.
Transportation to and from your worksite and to workshops at other Clinic locations is not provided. It is the responsibility of the student. However, for select activities that are considered part of the curriculum Cleveland Clinic reserves the right to provide and require the use of the provided transportation. Parents/Guardians, students and mentors will be notified of such arrangements as appropriate.
