Is Transportation Available?
Bus transportation is available for students who live in Owyhee’s transportation safety area, which includes the Sunrise Rim area and the Falcon Valley Apartments. On a space available basis, open enrollment students can ride an Owyhee bus from an established stop. We are sorry but the district does not transport students to or from other locations. Parent volunteers are helping coordinate carpools for students who live outside of the transportation area. You may obtain a carpool registration form from the Owyhee office.
Transportation is available through the Merrimack Valley Regional Transit Authority. Schedules are available through the Student Activities Office Haverhill D117 and D119 or Lawrence L133 or by calling 978-469-1254. There is also free shuttle service available between the Lawrence and Haverhill campuses.
Yes. Transportation to and from Summer Fenn is available from convenient pick-up and drop-off points at an additional charge. Campers will ride school buses operated by a local independent company. Each bus will be monitored by a Summer Fenn staff member. Buses are available in Arlington, Belmont, Cambridge, Concord, Lexington, Lincoln, Maynard, Wayland, Sudbury, and Winchester. To enroll simply complete the Transportation Registration form, and mail the form in with your deposit.
