Is transportation available to the tenants of Victorian Heights?
Transportation services are provided for the tenants of Victorian Heights Assisted Living, which includes shopping trips to local areas and surrounding communities and to outside scheduled activities. Transportation to medical, dental, vision and hearing appointments are provided twice a month within a 30-mile radius, which includes the Iron Mountain area at no charge to the tenant. Additional transports to appointments will be charged staffing fees and mileage at the current rate. In order to provide proper transportation services, the Victorian Height’s staff needs to make the appointments in order to ensure staff availability. If a tenant chooses to make his/her own appointments, Victorian Heights will not be responsible for transportation services.
