Is Transform/X or Transform/NET suitable for machine condition monitoring?
It is possible to easily develop a machine condition monitoring application using Transform/X or Transform/NET. To do this, you would need to have a method of obtaining the data digitized from your noise source and then supply this to the application. Then by analyzing the signal determine the condition of the machine. We can provide a simple demo application in VB6, VB.NET or VC# which shows how to construct a simple spectrum analyzer that performs the functions required. There are some issues you will need to consider further, but this will show you how easy and quick it is to construct such an application. You will need to consider the sampling frequency – but we have given some notes in the source code that shows how you can choose this for your needs.
