Is Top Thrill Dragster scarier than Kingda Ka?
I prefer Top Thrill Dragster over Kingda Ka. It’s usually smoother, has an acceleration that presses you into your seat on the first 1/3 of the launch, and you have a better view (but the view just makes it more scenic, not thrilling). Also, Top Thrill Dragster only has lap bars, so you feel free. Kingda Ka has shoulder restraints that make you feel more secure, thus less scary. b3anR: Kingda Ka is not WAY taller and faster. It’s only 36 ft taller and 8 mph faster. You can’t even notice that minute difference when you’re 400+ft in the air and going 100+mph. candy: Kingda Ka is not a copy, as Top Thrill Dragster and Kingda Ka were both manufactured by Intamin AG. That same company also made Millennium Force, Maverick, and Wicked Twister…also at Cedar Point.
