Is toothpaste biodegradable?

I’ve never heard of toothpaste no being bio-d., but if you have any concerns, use plain baking soda, or old-fashioned tooth powder if you can find it. Here in the US, baking soda comes in a plain cardboard box, purely bio-d. I hardly ever use regular toothpaste, gotten so I can’t stand the sweetness. It takes a bit getting used to the bitterness of baking soda, but you don’t use more than a 1/4 tsp at a time, a box lasts forever, it’s a very basic product, and it’s very cheap. No fluoride of course, but it’s in the water most places.
