For your own serious health condition, you must use any accrued paid sick time at the beginning of your leave. You have the option to use any unused vacation or personal days as part of your leave by contacting your immediate supervisor. If you exhaust your accrued paid sick leave or unused vacation or personal days, you will be placed on an unpaid leave. For the care of an ill child, spouse or parent, you may use up to three (3) days of accrued paid sick leave, if available, as part of the twelve-week leave. You have the option to use any unused vacation or personal days as part of your leave. If you require more time off you will be placed on an unpaid leave for the remainder of your leave.
