There was a rumor like that about Cher. I’m not sure about Prince. But Cher did not have a rib removed. She agreed to have a magazine hire a doctor and check to comfirm that the rumor was not true. So they did and it was comfirmed that Cher has all her ribs. It was some random British magazine.
