Is this SATA data cable for use between a standard SATA hard disk and SATA motherbored??

Hello, (ANS) In order to use an SATA hard disk drive, note the following:- No.1 The motherboard must be SATA enabled, meaning the chipset used on the system board must support the use of SATA drives. But most recent (in the last 2-3 years) modern motherboards do. No.2 Make sure the hard disk drive is an SATA drive (and not a plain vanilla IDE drive). No.3 The SATA is a thinner black cable than the previous IDE ribbon cables for IDE drives. YES! the SATA data cable is for use between a standard SATA HDD and a normal SATA enabled motherboard. You should find where the SATA cable plug’s into the MB on the system boards documentation.
