Is this outfit appropriate for an interview at finish line?
Never wear jeans to a job interview, even if it’s a Levi Jeans Company interview. Even if Finish Line doesn’t have a Nordstrom dress code, their first impression of you must be of a clean, responsible, and wise person. Wear a skirt or some dress pants. As for the shirt, wear something with sleeves. Wearing a provactive summer shirt could make the interviewer think that you’re desperate for their approval and attention. You don’t have to go over the top with a suit or anything, but give them the impression that you’re a responsible young woman with goals and you know how to take care of yourself. The shoes are fine, though. And don’t listen to those who say, “Dress more athletic.” Just because it is a sports shoe store it does not mean to dress like a customer. This interview is not about what you’re selling. It’s about how much of a hard worker you will be.
