Is This Newsweek Cover Making Sarah Palin Cringe?
(Background Photo by Chip Somodevilla/Getty Images North America) This week’s Newsweek cover is causing a stir for featuring Republican Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin blown up large without any photo retouching. The result is a big scary Sarah Palin face, but anyone would look this scary at this size without a little Photoshop thrown in. Critics say it’s a low blow for Newsweek to go out of its way to show every imperfection on the Alaska governor’s face, and that it shows the media’s bias for Barack Obama. Even if you think that’s just a load of pundit poop, you have to admit the McCain campaign has gotten the short end of the magazine cover stick in this campaign.
