Yes! Our course has been augmented with new requirements and updated to reflect the new driving laws. There are two new requirements that will affect all Texas teens under the age of 18. 1) The new law extends the phase 2 requirements for drivers restrictions from six months to one year. This is true for either a parent taught or traditional drivers education course. 2) All new drivers will now complete a driving test before a Texas drivers license is issued. Again, this is true for either a parent taught course or a traditional Texas drivers ed course.
