Is this a common thing for the lupron injection not to completely illeviate all pain for her?
Answer Hi Cathy I am sorry to hear that your daughter is having such a hard time with potential meds…Its too bad that the BC pill didn’t work. That was a good one for me. I too had issues with the BC pills initially, then I got on to Lo Estrin, it is one of the lowest pills out there. Because endo is a hormone driven condition, I know it is hard to get it just right, so that your hormones are somewhat level for the right outcome…which is no more pain. I am not an admirer of Lupron. I never had Lupron as a treatment, but I learned alot about it in an Endo Group that I attended some time ago. Most of the girls that were on Lupron did not care for it either. Mood swings, pain, some depression…There are different types of Lupron too. Maybe the doctor has given your daughter a different one this last time. I also found pain meds to be a masking treatment. After I exhausted all hormone driven meds, my doctor gave me a prescription for Anaprox. I don’t know if you and your daughter have
