Is there wheelchair access at all GM venues?
Yes, with the exception of Provand’s Lordship (Glasgow’s oldest surviving dwelling), which has limited wheelchair access. Glasgow Museums is committed to improving access at all of our venues. Ramps, level access and lifts allow wheelchair users to access all floors within most of our venues. In 2001 a major £250,000 project was completed at Scotland Street School Museum, including the installation of a lift (allowing access to all floors) and entrance ramps. Please refer to the ‘Access’ section at the venue you intend to visit.
