Yes definintely. ODI’s also need a change of schedule. Test Cricket is the pinnacle of Cricket, a Test series is bigger than an ODI series and should always have main priority, so my theory is that ODI series should always be played before the Test Series starts. This helps ODI’s for a few reasons. * Players will be less fatigued * Players will keep to make an impression to be picked for the Tests * It allows teams extra time go get used to the conditions for the Test Series * It builds up to the Test series like a curtain raiser. If 3 ODI’s or 5 ODI’s (for the important series) were played before the Test Series then I seriously believe that ODI’s popularity will increase.
