Yes, the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Ohio Department of Agriculture will be the lead agencies sampling/monitoring domestic birds and/or livestock.Ohio has been testing for avian influenza inOhio’s bird population – mostly waterfowl such as ducks, geese, and swans – for over 20 years.
