Is there such thing as pharmaceutical grade vitamins?

Most certainly, there is two grades at least that I am aware of in Australia. Pharmaceutical grade, and reagent grade. The pharmaceutical grade is used for the specific purpose of addition to vitamin pre-mixes, or tablets. Nutraceuticals are a where vitamins are used in food production (where foods are fortified) and this generally has less stringent rules than the production of actual vitamin tablets. NB reagents are used in labs for different analysis purposes, and come in different strengths (concentrations).
