To the point: absolutely, there is grandparent’s rights, she sounds like a immature person, and if the grandmother backs out of the situation now, she may lose the rights, the mother is doing all the wrong things and the children need an advocate to make sure bad things don’t continue to happen to these children. Now, I’m not stupid and I know there are two sides to every story, it would be nice to hear the other side, if there is one that makes any sense, but I doubt it from the sounds of things. Grandma, go do the right thing, get involved TODAY!!!!!!!

don’t know where the others on here got their info but grandparents do have rights ,tell your mum go to a solicitor, it happened to my friends mother, he died and his girl got new fella and stopped them seeing kids, she went to court and got weekly visits,they do have rights

You will find that there was a legal case some 25years ago that established that Grandparents do have certain rights!
