Is there such a thing as smoking etiquette?
Most of these people know jack-squat. There is a whole lot of etiquette. First, there is camaraderie because you are both members of a group that is, come on, discriminated against. – If you’ve got a kid with you and want to prove to them that smoking is bad, just tell them, don’t loudly cough at me while glaring and informing me that smoking kills. I know that. I’m smarter than you, you crazy lady. Back off. – But really, the fact is, people aren’t friendly enough these days. Nobody wants to be alone ever. If they’re smoking alone it’s just because they want a cigarette. Nobody is ever opposed to conversation, and in fact, it’s charming when someone MAKES conversation. So yeah, there is smokers etiquette involved, but the fact is, it’s just being a nice person. Good for you. And yeah, that crazy mother-of-toddler incident happened to me. ***** has gotta mind her business.
