Yes, for those license types for which a practical examination currently is required. Senate Bill 411 authorizes TDLR to require practical examinations for an applicant for a license or certificate. Both written and practical examinations are required for applicants who wish to become licensed as barbers, barber teachers, barber technicians, and barber manicurists.
