A., Yes, there are several colleges and various courses all over the world that offer Montessori Teacher training. To gain the full International Diploma a student must complete an intensive course of study, pass examinations in both theory and practice and complete a minimum of 420 hours of teaching practice. It is very important when visiting any Nursery that claims to be Montessori that you ask about staff training. Just having the materials and a vague idea of how they work is sadly common!!
