Is there special event parking?
Many venues in the City are host to special events throughout the year. In order to accommodate convenient exiting from parking facilities at special events, the Parking Division puts into place a collect-on-entry operation. The collect-on-entry rates are: • All facilities south of City Hall Avenue — $5.00 per entry • All facilities north of City Hall Avenue — $4.00 per entry • The collect-on-entry rate for Norfolk Tide games is $4.
Many venues downtown host special events throughout the year. Many parking garages and lots will offer special pricing during those events. Keep in mind that garages and lots closest to the event will tend to cost more while those further away may be less expensive. Please check our parking map and contact operators directly if you have specific questions about their special event rates.
