Is there something called a landlord background check for landlords to run on tenants?
On some states there are government funded background check agencies where you can run checks on your tenant, but on most states, landlords use private investigation agencies and online background check sites to perform their background checks. You can also check your local sheriffs office, they run background checks but you have to submit a signed consent form of the person in question.
