• This office can not defray the cost of a trip to Korea. However, there are several agencies that can assist. The Korean Veterans Association (KVA) has assisted many Korean War veterans in the past with setting up return visits to Korea, to include arrangements for accommodations, tours, and food. The United Services Organization (USO) Seoul is planning to have some low cost tours available for veterans during the commemoration time period. Many of the veterans’ organizations in the US are working on group trips to Korea, which can lower the cost of a visit. We encourage you to check with the veterans’ organizations. The Korea National Tourism Organization (KNTO) has information on tours for veterans and their families.
