Is there some kind of camera to see into dryer vent pipe?
I’ve never tried them myself, but they’re the only kinds of cameras I know of that can see around corners: http://www.surveillance-spy-cameras.com/snake-camera.htm But what I ended up doing when I had this problem was to hook up my leaf blower to the vent’s intake pipe, tape it up with duct tape, and then just blow all the stuff out of there. You’ll have to get up on the roof and take the grill off the exit part of the pipe if it has one. I also had to clean out that grill which had so much lint on it that it seemed like paper. And I used a toilet snake to finish the job. All of those things worked really well for me. If you do find a clog, you’re going to have to do that anyway. So I’m not sure it’s a good idea to spend any money on those snake cameras, unless you think you may have a dead animal or something clogging your vent pipe. Good luck!!
