Is there scope for local agreement on recommended number of objectives and the range of evidence?
It may be useful to clarify the meaning of the wording local agreement, particularly if this reflects past practices of agreements reached between local WAMG & local authorities. The regulations & the guidance do not explicitly provide scope for agreements of this nature. No reference is made in either the Regulations or the Guidance to any number of objectives as such. It is desirable that the reviewee is able to achieve a satisfactory balance between time for professional duties and personal interests outside work (Regs 13.2d).
