Is there “resting” to select spells and regain health/mana?
There is no “rest” or “camp” button to pass the time – this aspect of other computer RPGs just seems a waste of your playing time. Instead, we have balanced the game so that mana and health regeneration are reasonable with the challenges the party faces in the game. Most players will find that healing up after a battle is quick and easy by casting the healing spells. Since these spells are SPIRIT magic, which otherwise isn’t used extensively during combat, it’s like having a special pool of mana specifically for healing. In addition, a number of inhabitants, such as trolls, often carry healing potions around, and early on, players who don’t seem to have enough mana for healing themselves will find that these supplements are also fairly liberal. It’s not uncommon for early players to accumulate 20 or 30 healing potions to carry around just in case they exhaust their spirit mana in particularly harrowing battles. Once you build your characters up, if you choose to pursue enchanting your
