Is There Reciprocity Between Aerie and Other Wilderness Medicine Schools?

0

The question of reciprocity has changed dramatically in the past five or so years. Organizations are much more willing to accept other providers’ certifications, and as a result of this positive trend, it is far easier for an individual certified through most any organization to recertify. Aerie will recertify students’ WFR and WEMT from many other schools, including the Wilderness Medical Associates (WMA), the Wilderness Medicine Institute (WMI) of NOLS, and SOLO. In addition, we accept other organizations’ certifications, provided we can review and approve their curriculum. At the end of the course, the students send to Aerie a course completion letter. Aerie will provide the student with a recertification card at no additional charge.
