Is there really an archie comics P*RN series ?
If you’ve ever read Les Daniels’s history of comics the first porn comics were the eight pagers produced in Mexico which featured mainly pornographic stories allegedly about American Movie stars and cartoon heroes and heroines. Those continued for a very long time and since Archie became popular in the early fifties you may rest assured that there are (and I’ve seen) pornographic versions of them. I just did a google search with safe search turned off and got among other things a Russian page which shows an old porn archie page from it looks like the period of 1959-72. Cherry Poptart is widely called a pornographic Archie series but as a Larry Weitz fan from the days of Captain Guts (though by the nineties I was tired of Cherry) I consider it a bit more general — and creative than that.
