No, that was really the Lexington Hotel on Lexington Ave and 45th St. 1408 was filmed on location there (at least the exteriors and lobby scene was), but there’s no Dolphin Hotel here.

There is no Dolphin Hotel in New York, and so no room 1408. But there is one in Southampton, England, (only 4 stories) and one in Oceanside, CA. (only 25 rooms). You could try your luck there, just the same!
