Is there protection from housing discrimination, based on disability, for people living in condominiums?

Yes, the Michigan Persons with Disabilities Civil Rights Act of 1976 and the federal Fair Housing Amendments Act of 1988 cover housing, including condominiums. Also, the Condominium Law, P.A. 31 of 1987, gives guidelines on modifications that may be made by a co-owner to his/her condominium unit, at his or her expense, for access purposes.
