Is there priority admission for undergraduate students?
Freshman who are high school National Merit Scholars or Eastern Michigan University Presidential scholars may gain priority admission to the College of Business as freshmen. Please see “Future Students/High School Students” and contact Undergraduate Programs for details. Students transferring from a community college or four-year institution who have completed at least 30 transferrable credit hours with courses in a business track may also gain priority admission. These students who have earned a 3.0 or higher GPA will be admitted without a conditional admission. To maintain priority admission, students must maintain a minimum 2.50 GPA at EMU. Any undergraduate admitted under priority admission will be eligible to enroll in 300/400-level courses after completing a total of 56 credit hours.
