Is there parking available for participants?
The Race will not be able to provide parking for participants; however, private lots will be open to paying customers. • Is there parking available for survivors? Not at this time. • Is there handicapped parking available? In 2001, we were able to get handicapped parking at a lot at 14th & Tremont (entrance was on 14th). There were 76 spaces and the lot was marked “Time Park.” We are attempting to make the same arrangements in 2002. • Last year, the light rail trains filled up at the Mineral Avenue station and could not pick up passengers at subsequent stations. We know that the trains were very full and also recognize that the trains can only carry so many passengers in the small window before the race. To alleviate congestion at the Mineral Avenue station, we have added inbound Race bus service at Mervyn’s (Wadsworth and Bowles), and at Mervyn’s (Highlands Ranch – C-470 & County Line).
