Is there “outsider poetry” like theres outsider art?
There’s a huge amount of poetry that can be described as outsider-poetry, in fact much modern poetry would/could be described in these terms. Depeding of course on your definition of outsider. I have read some fantastic prison poetry for example, incongruous as that might seem. Here are some links from the web, you can also google “outsider poetry”, “urban poetry”, “prison poetry” etc..
