Is there mail delivery on christmas eve?

As long as Christmas Eve does not fall on a Sunday mail is delivered. Most cities do require mail to be delivered. The mail has to run becuase it can not be closed two business days in a row! So if they are closed on Christams day that requires them to be open on Christmas Eve.
