Is There Lots Of Written Work Involved In GCSE Dance Or Is It More Practical?

0

It’s mostly practical and the examination consists of 1 set dance that all gcse students do, 1 dance choreographed by your teacher and a dance you made yourself that can be a solo or group dance. These are all done in your 2nd year. In your first year, its still mostly practical but you’ll be watching videos and making notes of dances. Written = 20% exam and 10% coursework Practical = 20% set study, 20% teacher’s dance and 30% your choreography I heard that the dance sylabus is gonna change this year though so things might differ.
