Is there item durability, and can items be destroyed from durability loss?
Armor and weapons of most types have durability states that are indicated on the item’s tooltip. Some equippable item types, such as necklaces, rings, cloaks, and trinkets, do not have durability states. An item’s durability will degrade from normal use, including damage taken in combat, environmental damage, and death. If an item’s durability falls to zero, it becomes “broken” and no longer conveys any of its benefits to the wearer until repaired. Items can be repaired by certain NPCs, such as armor and weapons vendors. Characters cannot lose their items permanently due to durability loss.
