Is there is list somewhere of good songs to practice mouthpiece “buzzing?
Answer Sorry about my late reply. Buzzing usually just comes along with playing, but whenever I’d drive to work or school, I’d take my trombone mouthpiece and practice buzzing in the car. Trust me, you’ll get interesting looks from the pedistrians and other automobile-passengers, but hey, it works. Also be sure to practice your fifths with it, so that you hit the other registers and practice those along with your buzzing technique. That’s the only thing that I can really recommend. It only takes time to build up your lip-buzzing-tolerance. The more time you spend on the mouthpiece, the more endurance you’ll build. Good luck, Zach.
