Is there is any drug designed to inhibit or diminish sexual arousal in men?
Answer There is no drug designed nor FDA-approved to diminish sexual arousal (libido)in men. Spanish fly was said to be such a substance but this was a myth. However, many prescription drugs have side effects listed that include a decreased libido. This is called a side-effect, not a designed desirable effect. You can research these drugs at your local library in the huge book “Physicians Desk Reference.” I don’t think any M.D. would prescribe one of these drugs to inhibit libido. The obvious thing to do is to downplay all provocative sexual stimuli by the female. A more drastic approach would be castration. Vasectomy doesn’t do it. Aging is effective, but takes time! I hope this responds to your inquiry.
