Is there Internet access in the residence halls?
An appropriately configured computer will give you access to the K-State network by either wired or wireless means. Details regarding the sign-up process for the ResNet ethernet connection will be mailed by the end of July. An ethernet connection allows e-mail, Internet, and network access, as well as laser printing for a nominal fee. Computer labs are available in all halls and the academic resource centers in Derby and Kramer dining centers.
Every residence hall will have at least one wired connection per person residing. Each residence hall, with the exception of Cummings Complex, has wireless internet access. Students in Cummings Complex are welcome to set-up their own wireless router. There is also wireless access across the majority of campus.
